Default Transmission Whine?

Hey there! Just picked up a '17 Grom last week. Have about 120 miles on it so far. I was just wondering if it is normal for these bikes to have a bit of high pitched whine from the transmission (at least that's where I suspect it is coming from). At first I thought it might be a tight chain but it is within spec. I mostly hear it in 3rd and 4th gear between the 5-6k rev range when under load. If i drop below 5k or throttle past 6k it pretty much goes away. It's not super loud or anything, but it is annoying as I usually find myself in that rev range when cruising around town. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Default

sounds odd... but if it's a 17, it has a warranty, so take it to the dealer!
