Is a license required to ride the Grom? I don't know how it works around the world, but I'm wondering how it works in the US and Canada? I don't have a motorcycle license yet but if I were to pick up the Grom, could I ride it in my local streets without any problems without a license?

You do, it's nothing like riding a mini-bike, it's a legit motorcycle that you need to register and have a license for (US & Can) . You should work on getting your motorcycle license by time the Grom comes out.

A license is required for an operating vehicle on the road. The only ones where you don't is the little mini pocket 50cc bikes. But then again those are illegal they are just good on private property.
True but you can just use it for riding on your own land or tow it around to different places that are private. The only time where you would get in trouble is when you ride on public roads.
Lets not give guys the wrong idea now. I don't want to see bad things happen with the Grom. I could see guys not having a license just occasionally riding on the streets.
