180 lbs., 2385' elev., 86 octane NON-ethanol regular.
Factory shift points. (basically up at 4000 rpm & down at 2000 rpm)
I know; none of you do that - but this is break-in and testing.
Fill at start and end of each test to just touching nozzle stop.
Test #1: back country roads - 68 miles not above 4000 rpm
then 52 miles not above 5000 rpm. --- 165 mpg. ---
Test #2: same roads, 4th gear varying up and down from
4000 rpm to 6000 rpm. --- 132 mpg. ---
Test #3: back roads, and some highway, up to 55 mph WOT
(61mph at full tuck) --- 117 mpg. ---
Test #4: back country roads, and city driving. 4th gear
mostly 25 to 30 mph with up to 35. --- 160 mpg ---
