Any other fans of the Special Edition?

First off I wanna say the site is blowing up recently and i'm so glad to see that! I want to again give thanks to the admins and especially cbzdel for their hard work on everything and making this place grow like it is. anyway,... i'm holding off for

First off I wanna say the site is blowing up recently and i'm so glad to see that! I want to again give thanks to the admins and especially cbzdel for their hard work on everything and making this place grow like it is. anyway,... i'm holding off for the Non-ABS SE which seems hard to come by... Dealer says he's getting White (of course, which I really don't dislike just prefer the ebony/green but I just don't understand why the white is coming out so fast as opposed to the other colors as I've never seen white as a popular bike color but who knows...), Black, and ABS (Green/Ebony SE) but no Plain non-abs SE's which is what i'm looking for. I'm going to hold off until then... Anyone else feeling the same way? Just curious... I might seem crazy but this being my second bike and only riding for 3 years (really not that much in the scheme of things) want to hone my skills with a non-abs bike and learn how to master brake control....Though I'm not discouraging those of you who like the abs, I just like the ability to have full control and want to use it as a learning tool and kind of guide to keep me riding in my limits, if you know what i mean.

I myself am a huge fan of the special edition and thats the one i will be going for when i get round to it

I like the black/green edition as well. I plan on buying my 125 in march so hopefully the dealers will have the SE edition by then if not white it is

Still awaiting delivery for my Non ABS SE. Got a call from the dealer that it is arriving next Friday!

Worst part is I have a wedding to attend about 2 hours north of where I live and we're there all weekend

I'll be dreaming of it haha

I would do the abs, but I done think I will have the patience to wait, therefore will probably be on a white one

It seems like all the dealerships in my country have white. The green and black ones probably aren't coming this season.

I thought the white looked sharp online, but once I saw it, I fell in love with it =D Could not be happier with another color =P

I think the SE look awesome, but I have always wanted a white motorcycle so I went with that.. I would of went with the SE as a second choice though.. I am getting bored with plain black, I have dont that to many times...

I love the Special Edition and the Pearl White.
However...
White is easier to keep looking good. Darker color isn't.
Green is not a color I can wear.
Easier to chose gear to match a white bike or gear that can be brought over to another bike.
Too man

I can put more stickers onto white.

I love the way the SE looks. However the white is actually beginning to grow on me after watching a few members YouTube videos. You make a few excellent points on why the white edition is a good choice. I think I will remain open minded until I am ready to hit the local dealerships and see what they can offer me.

The white is sweet, but I already have a white bike...
I will definitely will hold out for the SE green/black.

This will be my tenth street bike that I've bought, in my 31 years of riding.

Overtime rules!
Working 50-60 hours a week over the last ten years has allowed me a lot of extra fun money. Plus, each bike I have were smoking deals. Along with the fact that I know guys that have spent the same amount for their ONE Hardley, it makes it easy for me to justify having several bikes.
I like variety.

I ride a LOT! I've put nearly 95,000 miles on the Goldwing, 35,000 miles on the FZ1, and about 11,000 on the CBR1000RR. The R6 is my dedicated track bike, and still I managed nearly 900 miles on the track this year!

++1 on that. I myself got the white for the same reason. Not that I don't like the others. But I always like on my vehicles.

If ABS was available in the white...or black I would have bought it.

ABS is worth it and I DO buy into the research that found ABS makes you 37% less likely to get into a fatal motorcycle accident.

The only reason I didn't wait for an ABS bike

The only reason I didn't wait for an ABS bike was because I'm not a fan of the green/ebony SE model, especially not for a $200 price premium
