my middle school daughter has been on an electric bike for years now working to save money for a real motorcycle. The time has come and she has the money for a used Honda Grom.
What do we have available for her on here? 2017 -> preferably very few if any mods and less damage is better.

Houston Area but Ill take the time to drive out farther it if the price is right.

You can buy a new one for just a little more. My 2022 Grom SP cost $ 3,500.

You're right but she's working hard for her money but it'll take another year for her to make up the difference.

Honda might be willing to work with her on financing a new one (say for a 2 year period) so that she would be able to afford it now. The new Grom is really special......especially the SP version, in my opinion. And a new one would come with a warranty, of course. Some used Groms have seen a lot of abuse.....especially if they were used for "stunting".....and if the power upgrades were not "matched" (e.g., engine running too lean all of the time, which can put a lot of wear and tear on the motor).

youre right, the only real reason id want the SP over and SF is because of the simplified engine maintenance and the worry free ownership. But itll be her 1st gas motorcycle, so im not looking to let her blow a $$ wod on something she might dump in the initial days.

Sounds like you've given this a lot of thought. Maybe you can get a good deal on a used one. Good luck !
