I've been at the dragon all week and on the final run back in, I bombed it off a cliff on the left gander right before the shade tree corner.

Bike runs fine, just banged the headlight up and tweaked the front a little.

I'm just a little banged up as well as I slammed a tree stump and bounced down the hill a little. Glad I came up with leathers this trip as they saved my ass.

I also got a video of it as my buddy was recording right behind me. I should have it uploaded later tonight.

These little groms crash real well!!!

Yep alive and kicking to enjoy another day

Those stock tires are not designed for heavy people going around sweepers unless your knee is touching the roadway and your knee sliders/pucks

Hey ride safe and with proper gear

Glad to hear you're OK! So what happened exactly? Did you come in too hot and run wide? I guess I should just wait for the video...

Was just coming in like I had been all week and the back end came out and down we went. I had been dragging my pegs around all week as well making them spark, that could have also been a factor in the rear coming out as it could have snagged/hit something making the rear hop.

LOL nice pics, last one is tops with the piece of grass still hanging on the swing arm

Battle scars, badge of honor;)

Still very happy you are ok, posted your video on our Hayabusa website and members that have ridden the dragon was committing on the wide sweepers and over the yellow line turns but like I tell them you weren't there and you weren't on the bike so don't judge a rider till you are in their shoes or can do it better.

Hell yeah for posting it up on the busa forum... I expected a few to complain about the lane riding as if I don't know the consequences. If I didn't know the road and it had been my first time around I would for sure not be crossing lanes like that, but it's not my first time and I could ride that place with my eyes shut. You can't tell from the view, but you can see around the turns that I chose to go wide in.

As for the bike, it's actually at the shop getting a new headlight/blinker and a few other things done to it and I should have it back in about two weeks:)

Oh and also thanks stew for the photos lol, I saw them this morning when I got up and I had totally expected them to be up on the highlights today. Glad I made a few others as well and one on the 600 escorting a stupid semi driver that decided to take on the dragon all of its lanes.
