If you ever ride in the rain, unless you dont mind getting wet do not do an FE kit. Was heading home and was caught in a very light rain shower, and my whole backside is SOAKED!! Never experienced this on any bike with a FE kit in my life! The tail

If you ever ride in the rain, unless you dont mind getting wet do not do an FE kit. Was heading home and was caught in a very light rain shower, and my whole backside is SOAKED!! Never experienced this on any bike with a FE kit in my life! The tail must be very short on this bike.

I've ridden in the rain on all of my bikes that have a FE kit. Small price to pay for a nicer looking bike.

Still going to eliminate mine soon.

Try not to ride in the rain. If the sky is dark I ride faster. If it opens up I'll pull over.

Sorry about the stupid question, but English is not my first language in addition to be new to sports motorcycle world: what is a FE kit? What does the acronym FE stands for? Tried to Google about that, but all I got were several pictures of tail-cen

FE Kit = Fender Eliminator Kit
Removes or minimizes the tail of the bike. Leaving the Plate, light, and blinkers.

looks so much better
only cost me $48 all up

i gave up trying to undo 2 of the bolts which was the only thing preventing the wires from coming free..i cut

i gave up trying to undo 2 of the bolts which was the only thing preventing the wires from coming free..i cut the wires and then later realised that the bolts i was trying to undo were welded in place :mad:
i was pissed.
but she's good now!
