Hi! I'm wondering if a Grom might not be a useful and fun ride in the flatlands of southernmost Florida so I'm here to learn more. I'm looking for a commuter and round town bike or scooter and i don't know much about the Grom -yet!
cheers

the 125cc only sees proplems when it hit hills, and seeing as you dont see many of those here.. you can cruse from 45-60 easily. when i was 15 and i lived at the beach i convinced my mom it was legal to ride a scooter with a learners permit. it really isnt but i rode a 125cc honda elite everywhere. it topped out about 60, i drove it everywhere at 55. its perfect for slow beach roads like A1A just dont take it on I-95

for me its a choice between The Grom and the Ruckus, both are great city runarounds, this looks a hell of alot better, has fuel injection, more power, disc brakes, and a manual transmission. unless you drop a chinese 150 in the ruckus the Grom wins hands down
