Since none of us have delivery of our Grom just yet.... but we're anxiously awaiting AUGUST!!! I'm wondering if maybe someone out there in the vendor-land could do a group buy on some gear....

I'm thinking
- helmet
- jacket
- gloves

That sort of thing for those of us buying our first bikes!

Would'nt be a bad idea for new riders. We just have to find a vendor who is capable of handling the group buy and find some members that want in. I already have lots of gear (have like 4 or 5 helmets haha)

I'm sure the Honda GROM will be the starter for many though.

I also see owners of higher powered bikes getting a GROM

Seen a vendor lurking around on this forum today which might be the vendor we need to get the group buy going for these stuff and any others people will want. Along with helmets, jackets, and gloves I think sliders might be another good one.

Hoping that vendor can jump on this thread ;)

Great Idea! Shouldn't be too hard if we get a vendor aboard.

Not even for people getting their first bikes. But since the type of hoonage everyone will be dealing with once their Grom arrives, they should look in to elbow pads, knee pads, back protectors and chest protectors. Just in case, I foresee each grom having a lot of wheelie and stoppie mileage ;)

I have been riding for 17 years on the street. I have a CBR900RR and a bunch of modified Honda 50s. I have had a CBR1100xx, 900RRs, Virago, magna, Yamaha FZ1, etc
I have a Grom on order. Looks like a blast! Some of us are experienced and excited as well!
