That's a useful site!

So the old "one up front" / "one down rear" cog tweak will make about 5mph difference at "cruise" speeds on this machine although the time to get there will be slightly longer of course (law of diminishing return?)

As the engine will almost be flat out, wind / temperature / road surface all come into play so you may not even recognise the difference. Probably not worth spending the USD100 on the replacement cogs. Saving up for a barrel / piston change is a better solution if you want more power. I see a german site is offering a 150cc barrel / piston with no EFI changes necessary or a 180cc but needing the injector tweaking. (See my post with the adjustable shock link).

Fatherly comment - Size matters. If you want to go faster, buy something with a bigger engine or spend lots trying to get a few extra bhp :)

Isn't it more how you use it? :)

Wow, nice site! I like all the warnings Firefox gave me to use it, but that's Java's fault for not being reliable. Sadly, there was no Monkey Wards bikes on the list and it doesn't go back far enough for most of my stuff. I like that the Norton Commando I had will barely go over the SR500 I have.
