Will anyone else be disappointed if their Grom ever rides on 2 wheels?! Seems like every advertisement has them doing wheelies or stoppies!

Yes. I'm buying a Grom to wheelie around town... But that how I ride anyway. Lol

You mean there is another way to ride?!

just kidding.

I enjoy zipping around on 2 wheels as much as I like occasionally popping that wheelie :)

ABOUT WHEELIES...

There seems to be a lot of concern about the Grom's ability to wheelie. Is it a bike that naturally wants to bring the front wheel into the air? No. Neither is a bicycle, my son's CRF70, or my zero turn mower, but I wheelie those things a lot. Wheelies are about technique, and the Grom should be a stupid easy bike to wheelie.

That said, it's one of those things people either have the knack for, or they don't. It's very much a feel thing, and very hard to verbalize how to do. One of the greatest "how to videos" of all time is by the late Samurai Jim. Here's on a DRZ400sm in the video, but for those who haven't ridden one, it's a bike that doesn't want to bring the front tire up easily either, though you'd never know that from his great video. All the same principals apply to the Grom. Enjoy.

There are a few vids of guys in Thailand doing a few stoppies in their MSX. Doesn't seem like a problem to me. Brakes seem to be pretty good.
