I am seeing different photos of the GROM headlights. Some show some sort of projector lens inside with a halo ring around it while others are just halogen.

JDM vs USDM version differences?

Would be epic if we got an HID/xenon kit with halos and projectors stock

never noticed the difference before that now you pointed it out, there's a massive difference between the two headlights. Maybe the halo & projector combo headlights are optional and we're seeing an optioned out JDM spec Grom? and our USDM spec groms are left without this option?

That would kind of suck. Having projector xenons would have been a very nice bonus to have on the GROM... Hopefully we can confirm this soon.

Anyone ordering Thailand spec headlights? :D:D

We stock the Thai projector style headlight in case anyone is interested in ordering. We had a load come in on Friday but they sold out instantly. More coming tomorrow. Honda MSX125 2013- - Tyga Performance

tried searching your website for the thai projector style headlight with halo but couldn't find it, really new item to you guys I guess? Just curious but I would like to know price and what shipping would be like to the U.S.

Just want to get an idea of what it will cost to get that shipped to my door if i actually want it. :)

Is there a catologue available yet in the US to select options for the Grom? I feel like those headlights would be an additional option.
when it comes to factory options, no. not from what i've seen. the only official Honda Grom page (honda website) which is this 2014 Grom Overview - Honda Powersports doesn't have anything more than an overview, Grom specs and pictures. shouldn't be too much longer till Honda gets something going

Would be nice to have it as an option but I have my doubts. Are they standard in Thailand or optional tygapaul?

$47!

Definitely worth the upgrade. Any photos of how the light outputs on a wall or road?

Do you have any idea what bulb size it comes in?

And do you know if it is a STANDARD option on the MSX125 or OPTIONAL?

$47 USD ain't too bad, with shipping and taxes my guess is $60-70. At that price point I wouldn't expect a crappy projector but I think it will be a good idea to look into how we can improve on the OEM setup. Might be best to work up improving the projector/halo setup before installing it since people ordering these already have a headlight to use.

Wow this is a relief I thought for a second their only in thailand are you able to get that particular housing on the MSX125 headlamp with the housing. Honda is good for parts all you got to do is place an order. So is it confirmed that this headlamp is only 47$USD? the cost sounds to low to be true.

The OEM parts for all domestically sold parts in Thailand is reasonable and we have an account with Honda so get a better price still. Don't be put off by the price because if truth be known, if you mass produce anything, the actual costs are way lower than what they'd have you think. The selling price for OE parts is mostly what the market will take, hence the differences between the prices in different markets for these parts.

On the issue of shipping and duty. Happy to say no duty to the US but the shipping is relatively expensive. Buying several things in one order will help a lot to reduce the unit cost of shipping because a lot of the cost is the packing material and box itself and not the contents.

That headlight looks awesome. I will definitely order one when the Grom comes over here. You should probably stock up. I can see a lot people buying once the Grom makes it NA debut.

Good tip, a lot of people don't understand that and buy one item and pay a lot for shipping. But seeing how many things can be bought for the Grom aside from just the projector headlight i think a lot of grom owners on this forum will be doing bulk orders.
