Honda Grom Inventory Shorage - The Motorcycle Review

Europe has a major shortage as well - obviously the success of the bike has taken Honda by surprise.

Honda in Thailand is going to have a busy summer.

I just wonder how allocation is going to be for north america. I hope my dealer doesnt try to mark up prices on me because the allocation is low.

I picked mine up the first day they were available, before anyone knew much about them. Good thing i guess or i probably would have had to wait a while.

I'm with you there. I'm not sure if there will be more or less demand for the Grom here in Canada. I better contact my dealership.

The highest-volume Honda dealers are only allotted 3 Groms in the first wave. Then only 3 more Groms will arrive each month for the next 3 months thereafter. Then the next 2 months, only 2 Groms will be sent per dealer. Then for the next 2 months, only 1 Grom per dealer.

Looks like many will not be able to get a Grom until spring 2014.

I heard this as well but it might be a part of the rumor mill to hype up the potential buyers to get one quick to increase the volume of sales.
