It's about the same weight as many scooters are these days. Difference is this is a motorcycle

Honda Grom Weight
One thing that really amazes about the Grom is the weight. It only weighs 225 pounds which includes all standard equipment, required fluids and full tank of fuel and ready to ride.
I'm about 200lbs and I nearly weigh the same as this bike.

225 is ready to ride weight.I think the stated weight of the Honda MSX 125 at 225lbs is dry it will be a bit more with all the fluids like gas and oil.
