So how exactly did you hear about the Grom?

I've been doing some research about what bike I want to buy for a long time now. A coworker who knows this sent me the Honda Grom promo vid about a month back. I was very impressed to say the least. And here we are.

i was on motorcycle.com and was looking through their motorcycle news and came across the Grom, at first i didn't care much about it but my ruckus friends started talking about it and then i ended up here.

My friends and brother in laws were talking about the MSX 125 over in Thailand and said it will be coming to the states so I did my fair share of research. I came by two interesting articles on motorcycle.com and cycleworld.com. It was the Honda Grom commercial that gave me a better idea of what this little bike is capable of.

Me and my brother always had been screwing around with bikes all our lives. The Honda Grom was destined for us. If it wasn't that it was the video that Honda Released about the Grom. Doing wheelies inside the warehouse and all.

It was the commercial for me too. I was linked to it on facebook. My friends had saw it on one of Honda's official fan pages. As I was watching I thought to myself, I can do that too and with the amount of power and size it is way more forgiving.

I'm probably the odd man out but I first saw it on Facebook through the Honda Powersports page. I'm not a huge facebook user but someone shared the announcement with me and asked me if I was going to switch out the Ruckus.

I just use facebook to stay in touch with my family and close friends. More so a photo albums and news feed for me.

Well...

I'm going wednesday to get pricing from a local dealer here in SLC and hoping that they can offer me a good trade-in deal on the ruckus. If not, I may be asking if anyone wants to buy it / listing it privately. I've never had good luck with trade-ins on cars or bikes.

So.. trade-in or sell, but not keeping both.

I used to work at Honda Dealership and my buddy that still does texted me about a month ago and said to google "Honda Grom". We all had YSR's and I have always been entrigued about GSXR50s and ZB50s. Currently we ride/race KLX110 pitbikes and talk about making them street legal - but this looks way more fun to start with!

That's a good question. I honestly don't remember. Considering it was not too long ago, probably says something about how my brain works (not very well).

I think I might have read the Grom mentioned in an article, Googled it and found this forum.
