59, nearly 60. Agreed that I would give up big bikes when I got to 60 as it is getting a bit "hairy" on the roads in the U.K. now.

Have been riding since I was 16 riding a variety including Honda 50 / Honda 175 / Honda 250 / Velocette / BMW / Yamaha . . . . Also a Chinese run-about which was, basically, sh1t painted blue. Gutless rustbucket.

Anyway, can't give up completely, so a small "fun" bike for pottering around the villages / commute to the rail station etc. on non-wet days (not that many in the U.K. recently :( ).

I had just figured the Grom would appeal to the younger crowd. I was really shocked when I saw the results of the poll, but then I noticed that only 12 people (including myself) had voted. It'll be interesting to see the final results after a substantial number of people vote.

Shocked as in you thought that us old fogies can't or shouldn't be interested in something so cool? :)

It may be that we have more disposable income or it is simply "we must have one of those" as we are into big boy toys! Well, that was partially the reason I put down a deposit. ha ha. BTW, Friday is the delivery day for me . . . .

Now that I think about it, I guess I shouldn't be too shocked. The motorcycle industry really hasn't figured out how to attract new blood (especially here in the US). They just keep selling bikes to the same people.

Congrats on getting your Grom, I'm totally jealous! Be sure to post pics after you get it!

38 here. I thought I would be the oldest guy on this forum, but I guess I was wrong. I feel like I'm in good company here :).

This is actually my first bike that I will own. My wife thinks this might be the start of a mid life crisis. She might be right. :D

34 and a father of two but still feel young as hell. Aside from flipping diapers I would like some free time to take my mind off and that is the purpose for the Honda Grom. Oh yeah and a couple minutes here and there to spend with my wife lol
