I am looking to pre-order a 2014 Honda Grom motorcycle and was told by my local dealer that I had to leave a $500 deposit on the bike, and that they would be arriving in the US in August. Depending on where you live in the country, it may be slightly later... California will get the first bikes.

The out the door price I was quoted was about $3800 with some options, and all the shipping, delivery, taxes, etc.

Overall I'm pretty darn excited

I am in Minneapolis, MN and I just ordered 2 (1 for me and 1 for my girlfriend) and the price was $3,675 each out the door :) The price for 1 was $3,750. So I am really happy with the price. She is going to learn to ride on it and eventually buy it from me at the end of this year. If she doesn't want it I am sure I could sell it right away.

shiny side up!

It'll be nice to see a Honda Grom Order Guide but I don't think it's too common to have a order guide for motorcycles. Hopefully Honda has some pamphlets and brochures we can take a look at soon.

As we can see from the Honda MSX 125 there isn't much options to select like a car for a bike. Maybe though there might be a brochure but not a Honda Grom order guide. I'll see if I could go in to Honda and see if they have any literature for the Honda Grom.

I keep seeing 3800 as the common figure all in. With destination costs, taxes. It makes sense. I'm waiting to hear if anyone is able to get one at under MSRP or invoice.

I am a manager @ a our dealership and set the pricing and I wouldn't sell one to myself under MSRP . You can't the mark up is 200$$ at best. Purchasing one under MSRP would call for us to take a $ hit because there are shipping fees and assembly fees associated with just about anything you purchase. Since we aren't in the business of loosing $ , 3800 is reasonable and fair for both parties. Helps us keep our Honda liscense in tack which enables us to be able to continue to provide new products like the Grom to our customers.
