I have just ordered one of these for £16 which is $24 approx.

I will post fitting pictures in a "how to" post when I fit it.

I was attracted to this version as it has a brake over-ride function, when sitting at traffic lights or at a junction, the buzzer will stop and only restart when you release the brakes. Also, it has a delay timer, so the buzzer will not start until the indicators have flashed for "x" times (anything from immediate to 20 flashes).

Looking at various wiring diagrams on the web, I could have built this myself quite easily but for £16 I would have had trouble getting all the parts for that.

Here is a link to the main site, look under "motorcycle" for a list of all of the kits available.

INDICATOR WARNING L.E.D.WITH ADJUSTABLE DELAY AND BRAKE LIGHT MOD

BIL03M

The ULTRA BRIGHT L.E.D. flashes in time with indicators once they have been flashing for a set amount of flashes.

The amount of flashes is set by the user from 0 flashes to approx 20 flashes.

This acts as a warning that indicators may have been left on.
Comes with everything that is required to fit (excluding tools).

ADVANTAGE OF BRAKE LIGHT STOP MOD, WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED THE POWER TO THIS UNIT IS CUT OFF SO SOUND AND L.E.D. WILL REMAIN OFF UNTIL BRAKES ARE RELEASED.

Very simple installation.

Connect 1 red wire to left indicator, connect other red wire to right indicator, connect black to any earth point on bike. Connect Yellow wire to brake light live wire.

Nice.. They sell other parts? Maybe a good vendor to include in a sticky for our UK members?

Agree, just need a sticky for UK EUROPE members. Maybe a bulk buy deal could be had?

I am surprised they do not advertise on eBay as a lot of other sellers gear is nothing in comparison to what they produce at a cheaper price. Maybe the listing fees and seller fee pumps the price up too high?

I am kind of confused but what does this do exactly?
When your indicators are on, it beeps to remind you to turn them off after your turn. However, if you are stationary at a junction or trafffic lights and have the brake on, the beeper is disabled. Release the brake and it starts beeping again.

not having self cancelling indicators will get annoying, I guess with a reminder to turn them off is a good way to make it not as annoying.
looking forward to that how-to, what was the delivery time for shipping? just to get an idea of when we can expect this how-to

Probably get it this week, but depends on how much free-time I get to myself at the weekend as to it being fitted. I have three projects lined up :-

(1) - rear carrier (ordered from Thailand, en-route
(2) - Indicator buzzer (ordered in the post local in UK)
(3) - Daylight Running Lights / Extra Rear Lights (ordered from China)

I expect the Buzzer will be the first one to be done though. Keep an eye on the Modification section :)

very nice project list, looks like you'll have you'll be really busy after taking delivery of your Grom.

BTW is it this Grom carrier you're talking about?

Especially as this bike does not have self cancelling indicators - my 14 year old Yamaha was fitted with them, approx 30 seconds or 500 yds and they cancelled - really useful.
Great idea for those bike that don't have the auto cancelling feature. When I first went to the site I thought you had the wrong URL but when I went to one of the tabs they had specific things for bike modifications.

Another thing I am looking for is a pulse chip for the brake light. It would flash a couple times before staying on full. Just a warning and get the attention for drivers behind you.

pulse chip for the brake light is a wicked feature, remember seeing these on a couple bikes before i even knew what it was, thought something was wrong with their bikes but it turned out to be a nice way to get the attention of drivers and riders behind.

i think this is a must-have for people riding in the city

I found a modulator that works on a car and a bike but you do have to do the wiring and splicing yourself. came up to $25 USD. I think i am going to get one for the harley and the Grom.

You can buy the kit and solder it yourself if you are any good with a soldering iron. This is a UK site, but Vellerman kits are sold in the USA, so a quick Google will find it. I linked the UK site as you can also see the instructions.

Sorry, I missed your post - apologies!! Yes, that is exactly the rack I ordered and got, it is an official Honda part. It fitted quicker than it took to post the How To! Wording on this bike is a real pleasure. I hope the general maintenance is going to be as easy!
