Have any of you seen these in person?

Honda Grom MSX125 Seat Racing Italy Style Mini Motorcycles Motard Very Cool | eBay

So I pick up my Grom tomorrow and sat on it today for the first time. I'm still on my tippy-toes with the stock seat. I'm wondering if this alternative seat will help me in the "height department."

Otherwise, I'm going to shave my stock seat but I really like the look of this Italian themed one!

Suggestions?

I don't think these seats are any lower than the stock grom. they look deep cut but appear to build up in back making the height seem lower?

Haha, 5 feet flat. With a 26-27 inch inseam...so yeah, with the 29.7 inch seat height, it's still a little tall for me (even with my full weight on the Grom).

Okay thanks. I still like the look of it so I might give this seat a try. And I guess I'll report back if it's actually lower or not.

We have them here since the MSX launched and they are about $60 USD here.
The standard seat is more comfortable then this one. The little 'bump' in the back is kind of annoying.
Looks OK but nothing i would personally want to drive with for a long period of time. You are always pushed to the front of the bike.

I don't know if it would help in the height department but it sure would get you some points in the looks department.

$200 for this seat and it doesn't help with your situation. I would look in to just shaving the stock seat down.
