Do you think the insurance on the Grom will be cheaper or more expensive than your more standard bike? I would think less because it doesn't have more power. Also has anyone inquired how much it will cost in their state or country?

If by standard bike you mean a real sportbike like say a CBR250R to start than yes, with 125CC's you can only do so much. Plus it's a mini-sportbike that doesn't do as much as the sportbike can.

While with the Grom you may be limited to riding in the city and short distance highway commutes, bikes like the CBR250 are used for just about everything as everyone knows.
