We do have plans to use led's in the headlights so stay tuned to see, we would like to hear what you think about it once fitted.

I like LED's. If they are DOT approved, even better. :)

it's possible.

The LED emitter technology is out there. You can also get custom circuits made to control the voltage and amp draw to the LED.

The #1 biggest problem is HEAT.

Not heat coming from the light. Heat from the back of the emitter. You need large heatsinks and a fan to cool it down.

Do you know what emitter you are using?

We are going with a little different route with the grom. For our 600rr we are working on the led retro fit. We have the specs, just have to build it to fit and then see if it will be able to work in other bikes without making a new headlight to dissipate the heat. Heat is the biggest factor with high powered led's.

I don't know how many watts the Grom will produce, but since it is probably limited, leds seem to make the most sense for lighting.
