Hey my name is George and I'm just try to get acquainted with this site. I know enough about bikes and riding but never have owned one or rode one; this will soon change because I am in the process of getting my license and owning my own bike. I gained my knowledge of bikes from my dad who is crazy about bikes and have owned many of them, as a kid growing up he would teach me about them.

So any pointers or advice on starting this journey would be greatly appreciated.
