Nitrous on a Honda Grom 125

If I wanted to do this how would I go about installing a nitrous kit and what exactly would I need to piece together a honda grom nitrous kit? New to all of this.

I don't know if you can fit this on a fuel injected engine? Not the bike to mod, I would think!
Yeah you can do it. Should be fairly easy. Question is are you thinking dry kit or wet kit? Either way I think the limiting factor might be the amount of fuel you can get out of the fuel pump and injector. I bet either style kit would require an auxiliary fuel pump.
whats the difference between a wet and dry nitrous kit?
As fun as this sounds I do not feel as if this 125 engine can take the extra beating nitrous provides. But to answer your question, I believe wet kits will inject both NO2 and the extra fuel needed while a dry kit will inject just NO2 and allow the fuel system to compensate on its own. Basicly wet kits work better, dry kits are easier to install.
Im planing on taking the 150 shot out of my supra and modding it to fit the grom.
Maybe a sneaky Pete, but adding a 150hp shot to a 9hp bike is a neat way to blow it up. If you do it, please video it for us! Heh

The sneaky Pete kit could be fun but you wouldn't be spraying much.
A little Cheater kit - wet 25 shot or so - is more than enough for a 9hp bike. I'd be worried about popping a rod even at that level. 9 horsepower crank means about 7 to the wheels. I doni't think the engine can take 7 times the power it was built for without help.

Yes, "wet" kits include additional injectors and inject more fuel with the NO2, and "dry" kits inject just the NO2.
I'd be leery of using nitrous on this engine. This engine design is over 30 years old and while it's been upgraded over the years it has also been increased in size and horsepower several times already.

I imagine you could do it if you restrained and kept it very very small.

I would love to see a shop pick up a grom, fab a small turbo and then plumb a nitrous kit, and top it off with a bore/stroke kit. Just because. Keep it all in moderation and watch an amazing little machine...

Only if you don't do it right!!!!!

Just don't put NOS in it..... Someone has to have seen the post where a guy bought it at a gas station and ran it through is bike (the energy drink.... idc if it is a farce, it is HILARIOUS)

Yep. If you run it right and purge it to show off to the ladies ther should be no spark but the one with you and the lady ;)

Lol that was an epic thread, the guy was for sure trolling. Who is stupid enough to do that...

The best one I have read was about a guy welding his differential entirely....
