Looks as though Honda will limit the number of Grom's that come to North American Honda dealers.

Ive heard that the Grom will be pretty limited. Level 5 Honda Powerhouse dealers will only get 3 groms for their first shipment and are also limited to an addition 3 each month for 3 months.

It doesnt look like the Grom will be openly available till March/April of 2014..

Looks like stealing one is the only way you will get one this year. lol

Im going to talk to my local dealer today to see if I can score one as soon as they come in.

Not impressed at all with these allocations, but I guess it's the best way for Honda to go about selling these without taking any major risk. But I have a feeling a good amount of people that lost their chance at getting a Grom that get sick of waiting will end up buying a different bike.

Nah, I cant see them buying something else. This is really the only bike in the market.

This is more of a bike you want, rather then need. At least I see it that way.

well my dealer told me they will be getting 3 and that the 3 techs have deposit for the first 3 I'm #4 on the list I hope one of there deals falls through and I get my chance at one!!! Lol..... At least I'll have all my parts ready to install on bike

If we really look at what else is out there comparable to the Honda Grom I don't think there is anything else that would promise as much fun.

Patience is key here. Honda might be doing this to see what kind of reaction they get for the Grom.

No, I'm planning to buy just one, but I want it faster. I'll buy from the dealer who will offer it first. I have no problem depositing $100-200, one of dealers requested $500, which is even better considering I'm getting more cashback on a credit card.

As crazy as it sounds, I've heard that the plan is to send a few initially and then distribute a lot of them right before Christmas as they believe that many parents will be purchasing these as gifts.

How much of a deposit are some of the dealers asking for??? I've been to two dealers and one was $700 and the other was $1000. Just wondering what some of you guys are putting down.
