The black forks make the bike look mean and a little stealthy. I still like the gold but to eaxh his own.

I keep looking at all the mods, add-ons etc. and then go and look at the bike, and do you know what? I quite like it just as it is. :)

I do like the reflective tape on the wheel rims and I will be fitting some extra lights, maybe Bullet Lights, so cage drivers have a better chance of seeing me, but the Black colour lends itself to classic good looks and is already stylish, IMHO.

I fully agree that the second one looks better. The top one is like hundreds of dollars in mods, the bottom on is like thousands of dollars. I was just pointing out specific mods on the bikes I like.

Yep, it is always down to personal choice, two of my British Classics have been Black with Gold pinstriping and although this bike is NOTHING like the others, I feel Honda have created a design classic with this machine, just like the original Monkey Bikes. Most of the early Japanese bikes were copies of an earlier generation, then they improved and once in a while they innovated. I remember when the first Honda 750/4 arrived, it set the motorcycling world on fire.

This one may only make it smoulder, but there will be copies and imposters on the market before you can say "Sayonara-baby"!

That is why any mods I do, I have the stock parts to put it back if needed. I think this could be a collector bike some day.

also good to keep stock parts you replaced with aftermarket to help it be an easier sell since not everyone will want to buy someones project, always fun starting 100% stock and then doing your own build.

Gold forks, black lower cowl, and gold chain would be sweet. But I have to agree with other posters that this is a classic design. You never know what production will be like- this very well might be a collector's item one day. Honda is targeting new riders and our economy is ready for the revolution. Go Grom!
