Using a minor polishing compound with an appropriate microfiber cloth. Once renewed, use a good cleaner wax, then a finishing wax on the area. Going forward, make sure to properly keep a coat of wax on your bike.
Plastic polish. i also use it on the windscreens of my bikes.
Anything more abrasive (like compound) will scratch it worse, and that you will not get out.
if you are worried about more scratches, but down clear 3M paint protector in the high abuse areas.
Rub-on Wax is just a band aid ... i never touch taht kind of wax.
S1000 is great though. or any detailer in a spray can.
