Are you going to keep your kawasaki ninja 125 stock or modify it once modifications become available?

I dont plan on getting rid of this bike.. My plan is to pass it down to my wife when I find something new in 4 or 5 years... She likes the mods, that way she gets a bike thats "pre-pimped"

I agree with the projectors. Been wanting to install projectors into my 600rr for a while now. fender is a must too. Thats all for now.

something I forgot to add above, braided brake lines and aftermarket pads will probably come next spring/summer.. I have always found aftermarket braking parts to be alot better that stock.

I've read alot of negative criticism about braided brake lines from the automotive world. It seems like the only safe way to have braided brake lines is to replace them often. You can't really tell if they are wearing out or not.

I know exactly what you are talking about, you just have to keep up with your inspections and still replace them in the same intervals as you would a regular line..

the make the brakes much more firm, at the same time they are much less user friend

the make the brakes much more firm, at the same time they are much less user friendly as well so you almost have to relearn them...

Anybody know if the wheel trim detailing tape for the Ninja 250 will work with the 125? The hub circumference is the same correct?

what wheel tape are you talking about?? just a regular wheel stripe kit? Its all universal, just a a kit for a 17" wheel.. Personally I never use the kits with precurved strips I always just use the roll of tape with an applicator tool.

I would definitely do a fender eliminating kit.
LED blinkers.
Exhaust and power commander.
Shorty levers.
Maybe adjustable rearsets.
Better tires, asap.

That will do for awhile.

The new IRCs on the 125s have actually been praised pretty widely by reviewers. I don't think they're bias-ply like the older Road Winners on the 250Rs.

I was thinking on keeping it stock. But couldn't help not doing mods on it. I took off the reflectors and the rear fenders, but kept the turn signals. I'm thinking of adding a exhaust and adding a drop link.

The frame sliders, described as "engine guards" by Kawasaki, will likely fit on the outside of the crankcase, just behind the fairings.

I'd guess they'll probably end up looking something like this:

I looked this weekend and didn't really see a place for sliders to stick through the forward vents in the fairings as we're used to seeing.

Hmmm, for me its exhaust, HID's (projectors would be cool), frame sliders, and what ever else seems logical and worth it to do honestly.
