I plan on riding hard in the Deal's Gap / Dragon area, so with a short wheelbase, yes, I feel there's a lot to be gained. Outside of the investment, there's no downside to a damper.

I hope (this is the keyword) HOPE to have my Grom for my annual Dragon trip in September. Damper will be key!

I cant wait to blast the dragon on the smaller Bike. My S1000RR is just to big and powerful for it. Stresses me out a little actually. The Grom will be a Blast! just need some super tacky tires and Im good!

Nice I had the same idea. shooting down 28 with the Grom would be uber fun.

Lets make it happen! It would be cool to meet all you guys if you plan on attending. I can't wait to find a road like that to ride on.

I'd like to see a traditional sort of damper for the Msx/grom in the same style as a ducati 916 sort of thing!! Ohlins - are you listening?
I am guessing when you speak of traditional you mean the transverse lateral steering damper not like the GPR and Scotts type.

Looks like this

IF.... Ohlins were to make a steering damper for the bike, is it something that people here would SERIOUSLY be interested in? Remember, they are NOT cheap... lol

If so, let me know, as i am working with Ohlins USA on some stuff ;)

The dragon will be the perfect place for grom riders to make the most of their grom. But it sucks for guys with big powerful bike and cars since all that power is really useless on the dragon!

would be wicked to see a bunch of groms riding through the dragon!

I have one on my 10" Gorilla and it makes a HUGE difference in handling. It used to but quite skittish hitting bumps while cornering, but it's much more solid now. When I get my Grom (next year maybe), I'll certainly be looking at getting one.
