Depends what you mean by "street use". If you mean, "in the city no faster than 25mph", yeah it won't really matter at all. But if you live in the north eastern US, "street" normally means 55-65mph roads and the larger bikes would handle the speed a lot easier. Not saying the Grom won't do it since I honestly don't know, but I do know if it can it would be working real hard while the other bikes you listed wouldn't be breaking a sweat.Hmm. It would be for street use so the small engine wouldn't be so bad. Hehe... cooler. Yes.
GROM is cooler so it wins.
Who wants some oranges?
All of this!A better comparison might be with a 125-150cc scooter/liquor-cycle.
sv650 (used since there are no new ones...) is cheaper than a grom now.GROM wins for price. SV650 and Monster win for everything else.
If they were all the same price I'd get the Monster![]()
Ha... More like a Smart Car to a Mustang or a Camaro! That's like comparing a Mini Cooper S to a BMW M3 and a Porsche 911
really? you can get a sv650 under 3k?sv650 (used since there are no new ones...) is cheaper than a grom now.
