Uh, a friend I won't name, might have found a lonely, flat, straight stretch of road with good sightlines. The speedo got up to 160 or so, but GPS claimed 172. So he told me. I think the GPS was in error though.
My KTM never went past 95. My Concours I'm pretty sure will do 110 before shifting into 4th... not sure, never had a need to go that fast.
Since I know it takes a Ninja 250 over 1 mile to get to 110 may I ask where, and why, you felt the need to accelerate flat out for over 1 mile? What purpose were you trying to accomplish? You probably only saved yourself 10-15 seconds... next time, learn to put your jacket and helmet on faster and you won't need to ride 110 to catch up with your friends.
