This is probably one of the more unique bikes out there. I have yet to see one of its kind on the street. The only footage of it I've seen is online. And I was farily impressed. But I wonder how I will react if I saw it in real life. Probably not much different than how others will react, but I'm still not sure what that will be.

What do you think people will think if they saw riding the Grom on the street? Will they be impressed, confused, snickering etc?

That's how I felt when I first saw the ruckus a few years back, but I love it now. It will grow on people I think.

For the size yes it might confuse some people, I think the first comment your gonna get when riding is "That is a small bike"... second "cool!"

the funnier situation would be pulling up to a light with a pack of full size motorcycles. What would they be thinking when they see the Grom? What do you think is going through their mind?

When the Grom first comes out people may not know what it is. But I could see the Grom becoming really popular down the line, which will also probably see a lot of copy cats. Especially with its cheap price tag.

People will see one of these on the road and wonder what it is, go home to Google it and many will probably get their own.

I ride a pretty well equiped Honda VFR800 Interceptor. I also race pit bikes. I also have a Yamaha Zuma (Yellow yet to boot).

When I am on my full size VFR800 I get no funny looks or snickers (except for Harley guys at a bike night)

When I am on my Zuma on the street or sometimes racing my pit bike at the track I get funny looks and snickers at times because I am a grown man on a scooter or on a kids bike at the race track.

When I get the funny looks and snickers - I know I have a wicked fast sport bike in my garage...and I chose to ride my scooter or my pit bike, and in the near future my Grom for one reason and one reason only....BECAUSE IT'S FUN!!!

Who cares what they think.

I've been on quite a few motorcycle forums. The common consensus is that Harley riders suck lol. Too good to recognize other bike riders who aren't their own.

When I get my Grom and I see another Grom rider, I would go out of my way to say hello.

That isn't true. Depends on the rider. You can't just categorize all of them like that. There are tons of 125c and 250cs on the road. The GROM actually looks cool for a 125.

lol true. But we do it anyways for all kinds of drivers.

For example, BMW drivers are a**holes. Modded Civic drivers are ricers, Hummer drivers have small willies.

I agree that the grom is one of the coolest small cc bikes i have seen thus far, if i didnt go for the grom it would have been the ruckus at some point, glad this came along before that happened.

The GROM is the "cooler" low CC motorcycle from my opinion.

Who cares what people think. Most of us here have larger displacement motorcycles.

We are buying the GROM because its awesome sauce.
