i just picked up a DJI Phantom quad copter with a bunch of extra goodies for 425 off craigslist. By far the coolest thing ever for flying around and it has bunch of real rad features that do a bunch of cool thing with GPS and will fly itself back if it loses signal with your controller.

If you happen to have instagram, add Floppyzebra as I'll be posting more videos all the time.

One of my friend has started flying this past year and got really into it. He started with the DJI F450 I posted and now has a DJI F550, hexcoptor. He started this site, Notadrone.com - Aerial Photography and Videography - Home

One of his early videos, he was filming a friend flying and they had a mid-air collision, broke a couple props and one of the arms (which my local hobby shop stocks) and was back flying pretty quickly.
