My dogs found it on my property. I got rid of it cuz I didnt want them eating it and I cant for the life of me figure out what it is. Any clue??? It was standing about a foot tall. the purple/blue spike ball things are like marble size.

My first thoughts when I saw this picture were like: which planet did they come from ? It looks so weird, I see this plant for the first time in my life, even if I love gardening and have a big experience with plants. I don't know what is it used for, but it would be a nice decorative element in my garden. I just mowed the tall grass from my new house, using a tool for cutting tall grass, and this plant would be a perfect decoration for my new place. I can imagine the faces of my friends when they will see it.
